SUMMER PROGRAMS 2014 CALL FOR INSTRUCTORS: all programs held at Colorado School of Mines in Golden, CO
CBK Summer Programs are residential experiences for students aged 8-17. They move from deep enrichment experiences to intensive acceleration. Students in the Luminary Project achieve equivalency credit at the high school or collegiate level and complete one full year of Honors, AP, or IB curriculum or one full semester of introductory collegiate curriculum. For Luminary Project, instructor requirements include the development of a collegiate-level course and syllabus. Students take only one course for the duration of their selected program, developing a rich living and learning community facilitated by quality instructors and residential staff. This is a tremendous opportunity for professional intensity, invigoration, and development. All lunches, materials, and texts are included in instructor compensation. We welcome your course proposal! For more info, please see their website: www.centerforbrightkids.org. Instructors are paid between $600 - $2000 for 1 – 3 week courses. Email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
