Call for Nominations! 2014 Outstanding Performance Award for Teaching Assistants

WHO IS ELIGIBLE FOR THIS AWARD?
Graduate and undergraduate teaching assistants in the College of Biological Sciences or its
courses who have demonstrated excellence in teaching and/or other instructional
activities that enhance the undergraduate and/or graduate educational experience at the
University of Minnesota
 
WHAT IS THE AWARD PERIOD?
The award covers nominations received for courses taught from spring semester 2014
through fall semester 2014, including summer session. Nominations will be solicited every
semester.
 
WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO SUBMIT A NOMINATION?
Any student or group of students taking a course in Biology (BIOL), Biochemistry (BIOC),
Genetics, Cell Biology, and Development (GCD), Plant Biology (PBIO), Neuroscience
(NSCI), Ecology, Evolution and Behavior (EEB), or Microbiology (MICB); and any faculty
member, graduate student, or staff member associated with a course in the College of
Biological Sciences
 
HOW IS A NOMINATION SUBMITTED?
On or before January 23, 2015, send a completed nomination form (to the right) or email
the requested information to:

Cheryl will contact the nominee to solicit more information including names for additional
letters of support. He can also answer questions or help with writing a nomination letter.
