Have your Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP) proposal peer reviewed by a CBS Research Ambassador before the February 24th deadline!
All feedback appointments will take place in CBS Student Services in MCB 3-104. Appointments will take approximately 15 minutes.
During the week of February 17th, several CBS Research Ambassadors will be available to review your UROP proposal and give you feedback before you submit it to the UROP Office. They will provide high-level feedback* on the background and significance, hypothesis, methods, appropriate use of references and overall clarity of your proposal.
*Please note that the Research Ambassadors will not be expected to line edit and/or proofread your proposal.

The University of Minnesota's Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP) provides funding to U of MN undergraduates who work on a research project with a faculty mentor. UROP provides a stipend (up to $1400 for approximately 120 hours of research) and expense money (up to $300 for project related expenses) to students. UROP is open to freshmen through seniors who are in an undergraduate degree program in good academic standing. Learn more about how you can get involved!
