The Major Network is looking for Juniors and Seniors interested in sharing their majors with students who are exploring different major options. The Major Network is a program through the Center for Academic Planning and Exploration that pairs upper-division students, as Mentors, with Exploring Students who have expressed an interest in certain majors. The time commitment is low and Mentor/Exploring Student pairs are able to develop the communication method and schedule that best suits them. Mentors choose to either complete a brief training session or watch a brief training video, and then are matched with a student who is interested in exploring the Mentor’s major. Mentors answer questions from Exploring Students who are seeking a better understanding of the student experience of specific majors. If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply by filling out the application listed under “Upper-level Mentors” here.
