Mayo Clinic Undergraduate IMPACT Program

The Innovative Minds Partnering to Advance Curative Therapies (IMPACT) program was launched in 2014 to challenge Minnesota undergraduates to develop novel hypotheses for critical health questions. Program highlights include:

  • Real-world clinical challenges to engage students in primary literature research
  • Symposium at Mayo Clinic for ALL participants (with poster presentations)
  • Oral presentations for top team submissions
  • Networking opportunities with faculty and students at Mayo Clinic
  • $1000 cash prize per student on each winning team
  • Summer internship opportunity at Mayo Clinic for the winning teams
