Take Your Biological Perspective Abroad - Apply by Dec 5

Take your biological perspective abroad to explore challenging questions, innovative ideas and European cities during spring break. You can discover creativity and innovation in Ireland or a cross-cultural perspective of genetically modified organisms in Switzerland and Germany on a freshman seminar this March. Applications for both programs close December 5. Scholarships are still available. Learn more about each program below.


 

Innovation and Imagination in Ireland

Dublin is often seen as a major technology hub of Europe. Spend a week in Ireland to learn how start-ups and companies enhance a culture of creativity and innovative thinking in their capital city. The program in Dublin meets the liberal education global perspectives requirement.
 

Course dates: Thursdays from 2:30 – 4:25 p.m.

Travel dates: March 13 – 22, 2015

Cost: $3,850 (includes tuition, airfare, activities, and many meals)

Sowing Discord: GMOs in Europe and the U.S.

Explore the differences in opinion about genetically modified organisms between the United States and Europe public. Travel to Switzerland and Germany and discover international perspectives on this controversial topic.
