Executive Assistant

What department/unit are you with?

CBS Dean's Office

How long have you been at the U?

Just under one year.

Describe something interesting or unusual about your work here?

My work is always changing! I've been very lucky over the past year to get to work in several areas, including in the EEB office, on the CBS faculty cluster searches, and now in my new role in the CBS Dean's office.

What do you like to do in your free time?

I love to watch bad movies with my husband, Nate, play with my two amazing dogs, garden in my tiny city yard, and do house projects. Our house was built in 1886, so there are a lot of house projects! I also really like attending concerts and shows, like the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra, the Minnesota Orchestra and the Minnesota Opera.

Tell us about your pups!

My oldest dog Moxie, a Boxer/Pit mix, is about 3 years old. She delights me every day with her huge jowls and she is definitely the bossy matriarch of the family. My younger dog, Ava, a smaller Pit mix, is the happiest dog I've ever met in my life. She hops around like a rabbit, runs in circles and is generally excited by everything and everyone.
