Lion and cub on Serengeti

APRIL 19, 2016 •  MPLS Photo Center

6-8 p.m. Reception and exhibition | Talk by lion expert Craig Packer at 7 p.m.

See lions and other African wildlife as captured by hundreds of hidden cameras and through the eyes of a world-class photographer. These spectacular images — both candid shots taken as part of the Snapshot Serengeti citizen-science project and stunning photos taken by long-time lion researcher Daniel Rosengren — offer a unique window into the private lives of African wildlife. Craig Packer, the world’s leading expert on the iconic but endangered African lion, will talk about his team's lion conservation efforts in conjunction with Earth Day 2016. Space is limited, please register by April 12, 2016.
