Helga Madigral, MS 2007 Identification and quantification of source waters to streamflow using hydrograph separation and End Member Mixing Analysis, in a paired watershed setting, Southeastern Minnesota. Helga is currently a professor and Coordinator of the Environmental Hydrology Laboratory at the School of Biological Sciences, National University of Costa Rica.

Dr. Eric Merten, PhD 2009 “Instream wood transport and effects of forest harvest of geomorphology and fish, in northern Minnesota streams” Eric is currently an assistant professor at Wartburg College.
Dr. Kyle Whittinghill (PhD 2010) Effect of Topography and Glaciation History on the Movement of Carbon and Nitrogen within Arctic Hillsides. Kyle is currently a visiting assistant professor at Colorado College.
Dr. James Hood (PhD 2010) Consumer nutrient stoichiometry: patterns, homeostasis, and links with fitness. Jim will be starting a faculty position at Ohio State University soon!
Dr. Martin Tsui (PhD 2010) Mercury Bioaccumulation and Methylation in Stream Ecosystems. Martin is an Assistant Professor at the University of North Carolina, Greensboro.
Dr. Amy Hansen (PhD 2011) The effects of fluid flow and epiphyte assemblages on photosynthesis and dissolved material uptake by submerged aquatic vegetation. Amy is currently a research associate at the Saint Anthony Falls Laboratory at UMN, and collaborates on ongoing projects.
