HHMI Pathways to Success Grant

Pathways to Advance Student Success is a five-year, $1.2 million grant awarded in 2014 by the Howard Hughes Medical Institute.

Our goal is to increase the percentage of at-risk students who earn biological sciences degrees by 10% or more within five years, thus achieving the 2012 PCAST report recommendations.

The grant is comprised of three main focus areas: Peer mentoring to enhance student engagement; assessment to predict risk and success; and student performance metrics.
