Joining our lab

Prospective undergraduate research assistants

Undergraduates are an important and integral part of the lab, helping on a wide range of projects, from field work and animal care to behavioral observations and dissections. Many students help with existing projects, some students develop their own projects and several are involved in writing manuscripts for publication. There are many different and exciting opportunities for you to be involved in undergraduate research in the lab and contribute to science in a meaningful way!

We are always looking for motivated undergraduate students to work in our lab. If you are interested, please download and complete this application, and return it with accompanying application materials either to Dr. Snell-Rood (PI; emilies@umn.edu) or Meredith Steck (grad student, steck047@umn.edu ).

Prospective graduate students and postdoctoral associates

Please inquire with Dr. Emilie Snell-Rood at emilies@umn.edu for current availability of space and funding for these positions.
