First year orientation

Orientation to the U of M - Day 1
Orientation is a required two-day program for all first-year students at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities Campus. Orientation is designed to give you the information you need for a successful beginning at the U of M. During the first day, you will have a chance to meet other incoming students while attending small group sessions on U of M programs. For more specific information regarding Day 1 activities, go to www.ofyp.umn.edu.

Your New College - Days 1 and 2
In addition to learning about all the U of M has to offer, advisers in CBS will provide you with information about your new college. The College Meeting on Day 1 will include information about specific CBS programs, courses, and opportunities for getting involved. CBS advisers will also help you start planning your fall schedule.

Registration - Day 2
The focus of Day 2 is finding answers to your individual questions and registering for classes! You will take the bus to the St. Paul campus, and work with a CBS adviser to discuss your questions, complete your class schedule, and register online for fall courses.
