Kate Thompson

Kate Thompson is a Junior Scientist working with David Tilman on the environmental impacts of global agriculture and future food demand. She assessed aquaculture production methods and potential to meet growing demand for animal protein. She completed undergraduate degrees in Ecology, Evolution, and Behavior, and also Cultural Studies and Comparative Literature, at the University of Minnesota. Her research interests broadly address sustainability science and water resources within the context of international development.
