National Search for Dean
College of Biological Sciences, University of Minnesota

The University of Minnesota is conducting a national search for a new dean of the College of Biological Sciences. A search committee has been named by the executive vice president and provost. The University has engaged the national search firm WittKieffer to assist the search committee in the recruitment and screening of candidates. A leadership profile for this position is posted below.

Listening sessions

Listening sessions took place in December and January with CBS faculty, staff, and student to inform the development of the position profile and the search process. The search consultants also conducted invited sessions with CBS academic and administrative leaders, external friends, and others within the college and University, with written comments also invited through an online comment form.
