  • COS - Community of Science Funding Opportunities - a comprehensive source of funding information available on the Web, with more than 22,000 records, representing over 400,000 funding opportunities, worth over $33 billion.
  • Grants.gov - allows organizations to electronically find and apply for competitive grant opportunities from all Federal grant-making agencies. An access point for over 900 grant programs offered by the 26 Federal grant-making agencies. Managed by the US Department of Health and Human Services.
  • Foundation Center - an authoritative source of up-to-date information on private philanthropy in the United States. The Foundation Center provides print, CD-ROM, and online resources to help grantseekers identify appropriate funders and develop targeted proposals. A visit to one of the five libraries, the online library at the Center's Web site, or a Cooperating Collection can assist grantseekers in their funding research.
  • Grants Net - find funds for training in the biomedical sciences and undergraduate science education.
  • Gen Bank - the NIH genetic sequence database, an annotated collection of all publicly available DNA sequences.
  • Pub Med - a service of the National Library of Medicine, provides access to over 11 million MEDLINE citations back to the mid-1960's and additional life science journals. PubMed includes links to many sites providing full text articles and other related resources.
  • SPIN - is an up-to-date listing of national and international government and private funding sources. It is the number one database of its kind and used by over 800 institutions worldwide.
