Postdoctoral Associate Position in Biology Teaching and Learning

Now Hiring!

Come work with faculty and staff in the new Department of Biology Teaching and Learning, the only department of its kind in the country.

We seek a postdoctoral associate to begin work as early as March 2016.  This associate will join a team that is working to decrease the performance gap between national and international students in non-majors biology courses. Duties will include drafting specific learning objectives for Biology 1009, developing interactive tutorials to help students learn key biology concepts, and working with Chinese- and Korean-speaking learning assistants to develop an interactive, culturally relevant glossary of biology terms. (There is no language requirement, other than mastery of English, for the postdoctoral associate.)  The position can also provide some opportunities to teach introductory biology.
