UROC Hiring for Fall 2016

Learn more about opportunities in the field of Biotechnology and join other CBS students and members of the career team on a visit to BioTechne. Biotechne offers a variety of internships and entry-level positions of interest to CBS students in the areas of cell culture, antibody, and protein development in addition to departments in stem cells, and sales. This is a great opportunity to learn about careers in the biological sciences.

Conservatory Assistant Applications Open

​The CBS Conservatory is looking to hire a Conservatory assistant to begin immediately.​ Conservatory assistantships are available only to students with positions at 10 hours per week at $10/hour. CAs are the primary waterers for the Conservatory's vast collection of diverse plant species; watering is very important, as each plant needs to be watered differently. Assistants also repot plants in the collection, mix up soil mixes, plant seeds for classes, and deliver and pick up plant materials.

Work Study Positions with the Center for Community-Engaged Learning

The Center for Community-Engaged Learning is currently seeking Peer Advisors to work with the Community Engagement Scholars Program, advise students seeking volunteer opportunities and support service-learning courses.  This is a great position for students looking to expand their experience with and knowledge of non-profit organizations in the Twin Cities.  Students in these positions also gain extensive skills in advising their peers, leading reflection and training sessions, and program development.  Positions are approximately 10 hours per week and app
