Two tenure-track positions in the Department of Plant and Microbial Biology

The College of Biological Sciences (CBS) at the University of Minnesota (UMN) is hiring two tenure-track assistant professor or associate professors in the Department of Plant and Microbial Biology.  New technologies and approaches provide unprecedented opportunities to link fundamental properties of plants at the molecular, cellular or tissue levels to phenotype.

Job Opportunity with Elite Medical Scribes

Elite Medical Scribes gives you the opportunity to gain clinical experience while building close relationships with Medical providers in clinic or hospital settings in over 27 states. You will be paired with a Physician or Physician Assistant, and see every Patient interaction while building the Electronic Medical Records, and performing other various tasks.

Apply to work as a CBS Ambassador for the 2017-18 academic year! CBS Ambassadors work as a team to support the College of Biological Sciences by promoting CBS and the University of Minnesota to perspective students and their families, current students, alumni, and the surrounding community. CBS Ambassadors will participate in student outreach initiatives, on-campus recruitment events, and first-year transition programming.

Position with City Year

City Year believes education has the power to help every child reach his or her potential. Working to bridge the gap between the support that students actually need and what schools are designed to provide, City Year AmeriCorps members work in under-resourced schools across 28 cities to identify students who are at risk of not graduating on time with their peers.

CBS Peer Advisor Position Open

The primary duties of Peer Advisors are to assist students with basic advising questions, and serve as a resource to connect CBS students with the CBS Student Services office and general campus resources. CBS Peer Advisors will assist students throughout their first year and beyond by supporting Orientation in the summer, and working in the CBS Student Services office answering common student questions related to registration, course planning, campus advising and registration tools, as well as preparation for appointments with professional advisors.

Biology Undergraduate TA for Fall 2017

The Department of Biology Teaching and Learning has approximately 15 open positions of Undergraduate Teaching Assistant for Biology 1001,1003 or 1009 in the Fall 2017 semester.  The essential qualifications for these positions are advanced undergraduate standing (junior or senior carrying at least six credits) and completion of at least Biol 2002 (or equivalent).  Successful candidates typically have more experience in biology through additional coursework, jobs, or research.

Research Technologist at Medical College of Wisconsin

The Medical College of Wisconsin is looking to hire a research technologist for a full time position. The role includes carrying out experimental designs, compiling and recording records and maintaining lab supply inventory.
