Amanuel Zewdie plans to use his science background as a springboard to addressing the healthcare needs of underserved communities.

CBS undergraduate receives 2013 SEED Award

Amanuel Zewdie, a double major in Biochemistry and Genetics, Cell Biology and Development, has received a 2013 Scholarly Excellence in Equity and Diversity Award from the Office of Equity and Diversity. The awards recognize students who are leaders in the classroom and in their communities, demonstrating a commitment to academic achievement and issues of equity, diversity and social justice.
