Genetics, Cell Biology and Development Major Workshop

All CBS students are invited to attend the upcoming Genetics, Cell Biology and Development Major Workshop on April 9. Attendees will hear from the Director of Undergraduate Studies in Gentics, Cell Biology, and Development and an academic advisor to learn about upper division electives, course planning, careers, and research in GCD.

Do Something that Counts: Exploring Careers with a Bachelor's Degree and Networking Event

Hear from previous students about the internships, jobs, research and involvement that prepared them for life after graduation, and the job that they have with their CBS bachelor's degree. Learn about the strategies and approaches you can take to gain the experience you need for your next step, and stick around to network with our panelists!

Explore Dental Careers Open House

The University of Minnesota School of Dentistry is hosting an open house event for prospective students who are looking to learn more about careers in dentistry! The event will include hands-on activities, information sessions, and the opportunity to connect with current students, faculty and staff in our dental hygiene (BSDH), dental therapy (BSDH/MDT), and dentistry (DDS) programs. Lunch will be provided.

Fulbright Fair

Undergraduate juniors, seniors, and graduate students can find out more about opportunities to spend a year abroad doing research, teaching English, or earning a Master's degree with a Fulbright Scholarship at this information session on Thursday, March 27. At the fair, students will hear from former Fulbrighters and find out about campus resources and the application process.

Patents, People, & Pizza

Attend a lunchtime information session on the University of Minnesota Law School's Patent Law Program and how patents can be used as tools in a variety of fields on Monday, March 26.

APARC Career Connections: AAPI Peace Corps Experience

The Asian Pacific American Resource Center is hosting an information session with UMN Peace Corps Campus Representative Katie Page on March 27. Lunch will be provided and all students are welcome.

HECUA Information Session

HECUA, an off-campus study program, will be hosting an information session on Wednesday, March 21 from 11:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in Coffman 303.

HECUA students will typically take 2-3 classes throughout the week and intern 10-20 hours at a community organization that relates directly to their program topic. HECUA is open to students outside of the U of M making it a great way to build community and network.
