Community Health Initiative (CHI) Undergraduate Scholarship

The CHI Undergraduate Scholarship, sponsored by the Office for Business & Community Economic Development (OBCED) with funding from Medica, supports full-time undergraduate students who are pursuing a health-related career and who show academic promise and financial need. Students must be currently enrolled at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities Campus and must demonstrate maturity, adaptability, and respect for diversity and other cultures. The CHI Undergraduate Scholarship is administered by the Multicultural Center for Academic Excellence (MCAE).

Ecolab Scholars Program

Do you have a dream of solving pressing environmental challenges in Minnesota and globally?  Do you want to find solutions for our world’s grand environmental challenges?  Do you have an interest in sustainability and the environment?

The Ecolab Scholars Program is accepting applications from first and second year students interested in sustainability fields who want to advance their communities economically and environmentally.

Applications Open for MHTA Foundation STEM Scholarships

The Minnesota High Tech Association Foundation (MHTF) is now accepting scholarship applications from Minnesota undergraduate students in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) disciplines. Awards range from $2,500 to $5,000 awards and can include internship opportunities at MHTA member companies. MHTF supports diversity in this application and award process.

Hamm Scholarship

Available for students in the plant sciences and related disciplines from the Philip C. Hamm Memorial Scholarship Program. This is the most prestigious award in the plant sciences at the University of Minnesota. Non renewable scholarship of up to $1,000 for qualified undergraduate students and up to $2,000 for qualified graduate students. Deadline March 15, 2019. Truman Scholar Nominations

Sophomore Leaders:

Are you working to create positive change?

Do you have a record of community involvement?

Can you articulate a vision and bring together people and resources to achieve it?

Do you plan to have a career of public service?

Could you use $30,000 for a graduate education and opportunities to network with similarly motivated young people and public leaders?

Apply for a University of Minnesota nomination to become a Truman Scholar by April 1.
