Applications Open for MHTA Foundation STEM Scholarships

The Minnesota High Tech Association Foundation (MHTF) is now accepting scholarship applications from Minnesota undergraduate students in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) disciplines. Awards range from $2,500 to $5,000 awards and can include internship opportunities at MHTA member companies. MHTF supports diversity in this application and award process. 

Ecolab Scholarship Program

Hamm Scholarship 

Available for students in the plant sciences and related disciplines from the Philip C. Hamm Memorial Scholarship Program. This is the most prestigious award in the plant sciences at the University of Minnesota. Non renewable scholarship of up to $1,000 for qualified undergraduate students and up to $2,000 for qualified graduate students. Deadline March 15, 2019. Truman Scholar Nominations

Sophomore Leaders:

Are you working to create positive change?

Do you have a record of community involvement?

Can you articulate a vision and bring together people and resources to achieve it?

Do you plan to have a career of public service?

Could you use $30,000 for a graduate education and opportunities to network with similarly motivated young people and public leaders?

Apply for a University of Minnesota nomination to become a Truman Scholar by April 1.

Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation Wildlife Leadership Awards 2019

Each year the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, a leading conservation organization headquartered in Missoula, Montana, offers scholarship opportunities to students in wildlife related natural resource programs.  

Last year the Foundation awarded $3,000 scholarships to twelve undergraduate students.

New Scholarship for Undergraduate Research: Milton and Danae Andrews Scholarship

Milton and Danae Andrews are committed to research at the University of Minnesota that will help to cure or alleviate symptoms of life-altering diseases. The Milton and Danae Andrews Scholarship for Undergraduate Research has been established to benefit undergraduate students who are contributing to significant research in the fields of human medicine and physiology.

ELIGIBILITY
Students are eligible for the award if they meet the following criteria:

Beinecke Scholarships award $34,000 toward graduate education in the Arts, Humanities, and some Social Sciences to students with superior intellectual ability and scholastic achievement.  Applicants must graduate between December 2019 and August 2020 and have a record of receiving need-based aid.  The University can nominate one student.  Campus applic
