Changes to Scholastic Dishonesty Policies

Until recently CBS had a college-specific policy about scholastic dishonesty that prohibited a student from withdrawing from a course to evade a grade sanction (of any grade). The college has voted to remove the college-specific policy and align with the University-wide policy, which prohibits a student found responsible for scholastic dishonesty from withdrawing from a course to avoid a F or N. If you'd like to read the University's policy you can do so in section D of the Grading and Transcripts policy.

Want to know more about scholastic dishonesty and how you can be sure to avoid it? Check out the Avoiding Scholastic Dishonesty resources from the Office of Community Standards. If you have questions about this policy, feel free to contact your academic advisor.
