Freshman students, Sophomores, and Juniors are encouraged to attend

Come learn about the Truman Scholarships, which are awarded to undergraduates who intend to pursue careers in government, education, the non-profit sector, or elsewhere in public service, and who want to make a difference.  Applicants must be Juniors and U.S. citizens or nationals.  Selection criteria include communication and leadership abilities, a demonstrated commitment to community service and/or political activism, and a strong academic record.  The Truman Scholarship provides up to $30,000 for graduate or professional school.  The scholarship has a service requirement.  Campus application deadline: November 5, 2012.  For more information about this and other nationally competitive scholarships, visit
