Introducing the new GoldPASS powered by Handshake Job and Career Services Platform

As a U of M student, you have free access to GoldPASS powered by Handshake, a faster, easier, and smarter system that connects you with jobs, internships, and career services. The new platform provides access to positions around the world, as well as part-time and full-time jobs on your campus and in the surrounding community. Additionally, you can use GoldPASS powered by Handshake to access information about and pre-register for CBS Career Team events

GoldPASS powered by Handshake offers new features, enabling you to:

  • Connect with CBS Career Services
    Access information and let us know you’re coming to CBS Career Team events such as Information Sessions, Workshops, Employer Site Visits, and the Life Sciences Graduate School and Pre-Health Opportunities Fairs.

  • Discover relevant opportunities
    Receive personalized job recommendations, just for you!

  • Stand out to employers
    Build a profile that helps you stand out by adding work experience, skills, interests and organizations.

  • Stay on track
    Download the Handshake App to have the latest opportunities at your fingertips.

Follow these three easy steps to start your job-search today:

  1. Log in to GoldPASS powered by Handshake
    Download the app or sign into your account at goldpass.umn.edu.

  2. Complete Your Profile
    Add your work experiences, skills, interests, and organizations. The more detail you provide, the better recommendations you’ll receive!

  3. Check out upcoming CBS Career Team Events
    Upcoming events can be found on the College of Biological Sciences Student Services Career Center. Once you login, click on the “Career Center” dropdown at the top of the screen, select “My School”, then scroll down to “College of Biological Sciences Student Services” under “Career Centers.”

  4. Discover Jobs For You
    Browse collections of jobs based on your profile and interests.
