Are you interested in exploring a career in public health, specifically in fields related to epidemiology or community health promotion? Join the CBS Career Team and the University of Minnesota School of Public Health, Epidemiology and Community Health Division (EpiCH) to learn more about the EpiCH programs, how to prepare a competitive application, and what to expect from a career in Public Health.
The first half of the event will provide an overview of the EpiCH program and application process. Then, current faculty and students will discuss their experiences in Public Health, and offer critical advice for preparing your application for public health graduate programs, finding your program “fit”, and maximizing your academic and professional potential. Each of our panelists earned a degree in biology and are currently working at the forefront of Public Health: investigating patterns of infectious diseases, designing new research for emerging issues, and directly improving community health outcomes.
