Summer 2022 Microbiology Course Offering: Biology of Microorganisms

Interested in learning more about microbiology? Biology of Microorganisms will provide a broad overview of the microbial world, highlighting the structure, function and diversity of microorganisms including viruses, bacteria, protists and fungi. Topics will include microbial anatomy, physiology, molecular biology and ecology. Microbial pathogenesis, immunology and infectious disease will also be presented and discussed.

  • Meeting Times: Lecture MWF 9 AM – 10:30 AM Lab MWF 10:45 AM – 1:15 PM
  • Prerequisites: Biol 1961 and Biol 2002 or Biol 1009 or instructor permission.
