Sustainability Symposium

The Institute on the Environment encourages you to submit an abstract for the Sustainability Symposium on April 5, 2013. This is a great opportunity to practice communicating research and/or art, specifically its implications related to sustainability. While this is a smaller event many students enter as practice for larger symposiums, and to gain new perspectives on their work. The participant who most clearly communicates how their work relates to sustainability challenges, and why it matters, will take home an iPad mini.

The symposium is open to all undergraduate, graduate, professional and postdoctoral students. The symposium's sponsors hope to represent the diverse range of University colleges and majors through interdisciplinary participation. Submissions can be made under three categories: poster, lightning talk or art/multi-media work. Abstracts are due by Friday, March 15th.
