Think Like a Researcher Spring Workshops

The Think like a Researcher workshop series scheduled for spring semester is designed to help undergraduate students from across the University become comfortable with research skills and tools.

Workshop topics include:

  1. Benefits and Challenges of Research; Finding Faculty Mentors
  2. Finding Scholarly Literature; Data Management Basics
  3. Writing Proposals; Designing Posters; Applying for Funding

How it Works:

The workshop series is open to all U of M undergraduate students. Students can decide to attend one or all, however, in order to receive a certificate of completion students must attend all workshops and complete short assignments.

Program Dates:

There are two options for attending:

Tuesday, January 23 (3-5 p.m.) AND Tuesday, January 30 (3-5 p.m.) (2 sessions)

OR

Friday, January 26 from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. (one long session).
