VPM 2400 - Managed Captive Wildlife Spring 2017

The Veterinary Population Medicine Department is excited to announce their new course VPM 2400 Managed Captive Wildlife being offered this Spring 2017.

Part of the new Minor in Wildlife Care and Handling, this introductory course discusses the principles and techniques involved in the care and management of captive wildlife. Topics include the role of captive wildlife, biodiversity, urban wildlife, biosentinel science, and animal welfare.

This 3-credit course will be offered in the Spring on Tue/Thurs from 11:45 a.m. - 1 p.m. in room 365 Borlaug Hall. (Class nbr:68476)
