Biodiversity Briefs Podcast Series Launches

Ecology, Evolution and Behavior graduate students write and record podcast series on extinction.

Students in Elizabeth Borer's graduate seminar on the causes and consequences of changes in biodiversity created a series of podcasts on various aspects of extinction. The podcasts are designed to make the topic accessible to a broad audience. "Science communication is a really important part of the job of a scientist," says Borer. "Regardless of the career path a scientist chooses, engaging a wide variety of audiences is critical for making science accessible and demonstrating the relevance of science in society."
