Associate Administrator

Where do you work?

The Department of Biochemistry, Molecular Biology & Biophysics

How long have you been at the U?

Since January 1988.

Describe something interesting or unusual about your work here:

In BMBB, we have a wide variety of not only scientific disciplines and backgrounds but also nationalities and ethnicities which provide some interesting and adventurous interactions!

We hear you are president of the University Golf Club, what does that entail?

I am entering my fifth year as president of the University of Minnesota Men's Golf Club. Our golf club has been around for over 40 years and is open to all University students, staff, faculty and Alumni Association members. Basically, as president of the golf club I am the chairman of our executive board in charge of coordinating and directing our tournaments as well as managing our membership.

What do you like to do in your free time?

Other than golf, I enjoy running, riding my bike and traveling. My last few vacations have taken me to several of our national parks, which has been absolutely amazing.
