The CBS Dean's Office has allocated $75,000 of strategic initiative funds to support DEIJ micro-grants with the goal of recognizing and advancing the grassroots work happening throughout the college. All members of the CBS community are eligible to apply for the grants. Proposals will be selected based on their potential for causing sustained change, clarity on how the project will benefit a minoritized group(s) and likelihood of proposed action plan to meet applicant's goal.
Applications received by February 21 will be given priority. Recipients will be notified by March 14.
Microgrants should benefit people who identify with marginalized groups in ways that promote diversity, equity, inclusion, and/or social justice in CBS. Alignment with the recommendations of the CBS anti-racism working group and the Office of Equity and Diversity's strategic priorities is encouraged. Funding requests up to $10,000* will be considered.
How to apply
* Proposals for >$10,000 are welcomed; applications of this type must fully elucidate how the funding will significantly impact the CBS community.
