Whether you plan to work in dentistry, medicine, pharmacy, public health, policy or beyond, you can take advantage of the programming available October 12-16. Over the course of the week, you can network with CBS alumni working in medically related careers, learn how to become a competitive applicant, explore different careers and prepare for graduate or professional programs that will come after you graduate. Interested in healthcare but potentially not pursuing a career as a physician? Join this webinar on October 13 to hear about careers in medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, and beyond. We will compare career paths and evaluate differences in physicians, dentists, and pharmacists, as well as introduce other careers in healthcare. Join us online.
Interviewing for Health Professional School

Learn how to be successful in health professional program interviews - especially medical, dental and pharmacy schools. We’ll discuss what health professional schools generally look for in candidates, types of interviews, and will have a chance to practice responses to common interview questions in this interactive workshop.

CBS alumni -- both current medical students and those established in their fields -- will provide their insights about the best way to position yourself for medical school, the application process and what to expect in medical school and as a working physician. Personal Statement Workshop
October 15; 2 p.m.
Join a CBS Career Coach to understand how to structure and write your personal statement for health professions programs (students interested in graduate school are welcome, too!). Specific advice will be given regarding the do’s and don’ts of an effective statement. You will also have time to brainstorm aspects of your statement and create an outline. Join us online.
Beyond medical school: Exploring the wide world of healthcare careers (Alumni networking event)
