Marlene Zuk in running for PEN Award

Ecology, Evolution and Behavior professor makes the list of nominees for her book Paleofantasy.

Marlene Zuk (EEB) is in the running for the 2014 PEN/E. O. Wilson Literary Science Writing Award for her recent release Paleofantasy: What Evolution Really Tells Us about Sex,Diet, and How We Live. The award celebrates writing that exemplifies literary excellence on the subject of physical and biological sciences. Past recipients include Siddhartha Mukherjee, James Gleick, and Leonard Mlodinow. The short list of nominees will be announced June 17, and winners for will be announced on July 30. Check out interviews with Zuk at Wired and Slate.
