Aaron Dysart is an artist whose interdisciplinary work uses visual language and spectacle to give hidden stories a broader audience. His environmental interventions showcase his love of light shows, fog machines, and data, while his objects showcase his fascination with material’s ability to convey meaning. Aaron is currently a Knowing Water Fellow through the Weisman Museum’s Target Gallery for Creative Collaboration and the City Artist in Residence in St. Paul. He will share his experience as a fellow in the City Art Collaboratory, a cross-disciplinary research and development fellowship for artists and STEM professionals, and also discuss his work with Dr. Paige Novak on a MnDRIVE Environment funded collaboration at Fulton Brewery.
A panel discussion: Collaboration Revisited will follow Aaron's talk.
