I graduated with a BA in Chemistry from Wartburg College in Waverly, IA. While getting my degree I studied abroad for a semester at the University of Cape Town in South Africa.
Life before CBS...
Before joining the CBS career team I worked as a scientific recruiter and a client services manager.
Adjusting to college life…
As a first year, I found connecting with second or third year students really comforting. They had gone through the college transition and were more settled in their lives on campus. Just seeing that confidence and comfortability was reassuring, but it also helped to build relationships with upperclassmen. They gave me tips on getting around campus, clubs to join, and how to manage my workload. Reach out and connect with other students of all years - as someone who has just gone through the transition you're in, they are a great resource.

My job is to connect students and employers. I love celebrating our amazing students by telling employers about their accomplishments and abilities.
Current passions, hobbies, things that give you joy?
I enjoy yoga, walking around the lakes, and spending time with friends. I like trying new recipes, learning card games, and reading so let me know if you have any recommendations!
