I am an adjunct professor in the Plant and Microbial Biology Department at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. In addition, I am also a research scientist and group lead in the Plant Breeding division of Bayer Crop Science. At Bayer my team and I use genomics and statistics to improve crop yields. Due to my unique position with one foot in academia and one in industry, I also engage in helping undergraduates, graduate students and post-docs explore diverse career opportunities and am happy to chat with interested students.
