Research Interests:

I have worked on a variety of projects which take advantage of my molecular genetic knowledge and expertise.   Most of my work recently has been in the Developmental Timing project.  I have been attempting, using numerous approaches, to obtain a PTTH mutant.  This remains an ongoing project.  Second, I am characterizing the PTTH regulatory region with the ultimate goal of obtaining the positive regulatory sequence of PTTH.

In addition to my research projects, I am the lab manager.  I do the ordering, mail stock requests, maintain the fly database and the lab web page, and whatever else is needed to keep Mike's lab running smoothly.
