As an undergrad, I had a weekly show on the campus radio station and I was active in various creative writing events on campus. As an Advisor, I advise students transferring within the U to CBS and am also a Mental Health Advocate.
Life before CBS…
After college, I worked a variety of jobs that allowed me to explore my different interests. Through these experiences, I realized I was passionate about education, creative thinking, and setting goals with others. These passions pushed me to go back to school. As a graduate student at the U, I worked for several different units across campus including: Student Counseling Services, Student Academic Success Services, the Lindahl Academic Center, and Carlson School of Management. I started with CBS right after finishing grad school.
Adjusting to college life…
It's OK to be unsure, to try new things, and to change your mind.
Favorite part of the job?
Everyday is a little different! There is always so much happening in CBS and at the U. I love hearing about student's experiences on campus, in and out of the classroom!
Current passions, hobbies, things that give you joy?
Outside of work, I love eating and talking about food, discovering new music, doing yoga, cycling, and reading.
