I attended St. Catherine University and completed a Bachelor of Arts in History. I was really interested in university history through buildings and moments of chaos and transition. I completed my masters degree on the East Coast and while I really enjoyed the experience, I am glad to be back in the midwest!
Life before CBS…
I’ve worked in student activities at colleges in Minnesota and diversity and inclusion programming in colleges on the East Coast.
Adjusting to college life…
I serendipitously met someone who would grow to be a profound mentor on my first day of college. She helped me find community on campus and grow to achieve my goals. I was lucky to attend a small college and really loved the strong community there. I always encourage students to find community and places where they can be themselves!
Favorite part of the job?
I really love getting to know students and working with them to help achieve their unique goals! I feel so lucky to be able to do this work, get to know students and be a part of their journey.
Current passions, hobbies, things that bring you joy?
I really love crafting and making things! I recently have learned to make soap and have been making a blanket for over a year (fingers crossed I finish it this year). I also love gardening and spending time in nature and with friends.
Look out for...
Way too many fun pens and markers and school supplies! Have a favorite pen? Please share!
