Yari is a Postdoctoral Associate in the Seelig lab. She works on in vitro selection and evolution of enzymes, more precisely with the aim to generate a de novo Diels-Alderase based on the widely distributed TIM-barrel fold. She is also interested in better understanding and further increasing the catalytic activity of a synthetic RNA ligase previously selected in the lab.
