Postdoctoral funding in my lab is focused in two general areas: experimental work on the microbiome of the deposit-feeding polychaete, Capitella teleta (in collaboration with Mike Sadowsky from our Biotechnology Institute); mechanistic modeling of toxic chemical impacts across levels of biological organization. If you have interest and experience in one of these general areas (see my publication list for more detailed information about my research interests), please feel free to contact me to explore opportunities. I would also encourage you to take advantage of opportunities such as the CBS Grand Challenges in Biology Postdoctoral Program. Prospective postdocs should email me a brief cover letter describing your research questions or topics of interest, your CV, and 1 or 2 of your publications.
Prospective graduate students should see the EEB graduate program website here and read some of my recent publications. If after reviewing this information you feel that we have sufficient overlap in research interests, please email me a brief cover letter describing your previous research experiences and your research questions or topics of interest. Please also send me your CV, including your GPA and GRE scores.
Prospective undergraduate students, please send me a brief cover letter describing your interests and your resume.
