Student Response Systems (clickers) provide real-time feedback to instructors and students and can be used to increase student engagement and in-class discussions. We provide pedagogical and technical expertise for using clickers. CBS-RLT assists faculty in the adoption and use of the iClicker system in courses where students bring their own clicker or device to class. For courses that adopt the iClicker system, we provide support for the initial setup and ongoing support as needed. Additionally, we provide coaching and resources for using clickers to meet particular teaching and learning goals.
This service can also loan clickers for use in classes that have not formally adopted clickers. A set of 50 clickers can be reserved for use during scheduled class times.
If you have questions about using iClickers, would like a demonstration, or want more information, please contact CBS-RLT. We ask that new iClicker adopters contact us at least four weeks before the start of the semester. To reserve a set of clickers for use in a course, contact us to check availability at least two weeks before the semester starts. A set of 50 clickers can be reserved for use during scheduled class times.
