Market Science
At CBS, we believe the best way to learn science is by doing science. Our Market Science program shares that vision, bringing hands-on biology learning opportunities to the greater Minnesota community by attending farmers markets and other events. Next time you see the Market Science’s travelling booth, stop by to say hi, ask a question, or learn something new.

InSciEd Out
InSciEdOut is reimagining science education for the next generation! The program hopes to close the achievement gap for Pre-K12 students throughout the metro while providing educators with the resource they need to grow. How? The answer is simple: with accessible and engaging science.

Resources

College of Biological Sciences Conservatory
Explore the most diverse collection of plant species in the upper Midwest with a visit to the CBS Conservatory. Students, researchers, and community members regularly visit the Conservatory and its ‘living laboratory’ of over 1,200 species of plants for education and research purposes — or simply to warm up during a cold Minnesota winter!

Cedar Creek Ecosystem Science Reserve
With nine square miles of land spanning three distinct ecosystems, East Bethel’s Cedar Creek Ecosystem Science Reserve has become a destination for ecological researchers and nature-lovers alike. Cedar Creek uses its three pillars — outreach, research, and education — to close the ever-growing rift between science, community, and government.
