Spring 2013 Networking

Thank you for joining us at the Prairie Wetland Partnership networking event!

Results from the meeting. iClickers were used to gauge attendees opinions of the best way to harness the UMN's work on prairies and wetlands. Please note: (1) There were between 25 and 29 responses to each question, (2) the bar graph colors are not meaningful, and (3) the scale of the y-axes are not equal throughout.

 

The statewide plan referenced above is the Minnesota Prairie Conservation Plan. Attendees overwhelmingly supported a cooperation of some kind with the Conservation Plan.

4:30 pm: Refreshments

4:45 pm: Clarence Lehman, College of Biological Sciences, will present the idea of a concerted UMN inventory of prairie and wetland research.

5:00 pm: Neal Feeken, The Nature Conservancy, will present the Minnesota Conservation Plan

5:20 pm: Discussion of what we do and how the UMN Prairie Wetland Partnership can contribute to the Minnesota Conservation Plan

All UMN faculty, students, and staff working on prairies or wetlands in any capacity are invited.

Refreshments will be provided.
