CBS undergraduate receives 2013 SEED Award

Amanuel Zewdie, a double major in Biochemistry and Genetics, Cell Biology and Development, has received a 2013 Scholarly Excellence in Equity and Diversity Award from the Office of Equity and Diversity. The awards recognize students who are leaders in the classroom and in their communities, demonstrating a commitment to academic achievement and issues of equity, diversity and social justice. In addition to his challenging coursework, Amaneul is the president of the Ethiopian Student Association. He hopes to earn an M.D./MPH.
