Campus or Community Affiliations
Outside of work, I have gotten involved with Big Brothers Big Sisters. I have been matched with my little sister for about a year and a half now, and some of our favorite outings together have been what I have brought her to spend time on campus. I am also involved with the Fightin' Moose, a team that I play kickball and broomball with!
Life before CBS…
I originally worked as an engineer at Apple before deciding to return to graduate school and pursue something that gave me a stronger sense of purpose. Through this experience I learned that I can enjoy something without needing to make it my career.
Adjusting to college life…
The academic adjustment to college as a first-year student was harder than I had expected. Classes were challenging, and I didn't have all of the study skills I needed to be successful. Learning to utilize campus resources, work on assignments with my friends, and talk to my professors helped a lot!
Favorite part of the job?
The people. I feel so fortunate to get to come and work with such wonderful people in CBS, and the hard work and amazing accomplishments by CBS students inspire and motivate me each and every day.
Current passions, hobbies, things that give you joy?
My hobbies tend to shift based on the season, but I really enjoy hiking, baking, and photography. One thing I love all year around, is going to live theater!
Be on the lookout for...
Sadie, my pug! When in the office, you can find photos of her on my calendar, and when working remotely you can often spot her in the background.
