Life before CBS…
After graduating, I was a case manager for Hennepin county before transitioning into my role at the Learning Abroad Center with 25% in CBS. I was a study abroad peer adviser in undergrad, and studied abroad myself in Amman, Jordan & Seoul, South Korea.
Adjusting to college life…
When I was in college, I was a part of a lot of student groups, and was on the board of several groups as well. This helped me find a sense of community and made adjustment a lot easier. With my role in the study abroad office as well, I kind of became the informal study abroad adviser for all my peers.
Favorite part of the job?
Meeting students that are excited to leap beyond their comfort zones, and share my love for travel. I also like getting to share my experiences with student’s of similar identities to improve the accessibility of studying abroad.
Current passions, hobbies, things that give you joy?
I like being creative and being entertained; so drawing, crocheting, books, watching anime or movies. I also love good music, and I'm about 50% made up of milk tea/coffee.
Be on the lookout for…
Funny faces, I’ve been told I’m “very expressive”.
