Life before CBS…

In 2012 I moved from Massachusetts to Minnesota to go to college at SCSU. During my undergraduate experience I interned with Civic Engagement and Husky Involvement. While completing my masters I was the graduate assistant for the University Program Board and interned at St Cloud Technical and community college. After graduating with my masters in 2020 I worked at Anna Marie’s Alliance: Domestic Violence Shelter. I got my start in Higher Education with Walden University as a Student Success Advisor.

Adjusting to college life..

My first 2 years of college in MA was not the best experience, so I decided to take a chance on new experiences. When coming to SCSU I had to adjust to a new college and a new state. Thankfully I was encouraged right away to get involved and was able to take advantage of what SCSU organizations had to offer. I joined Delta Phi Epsilon sorority which gave me the opportunity to build different skills: event planning, team work, communication, and leadership. Thanks to DPHIE I was able to build up my resume and made lifelong friendships.

Favorite part of the job?

The best part of my job is working with students and the rest of campus. It is great to watch students figure out their passions during their courses. As well as watching them grow as an individual over the years.

Current passions, hobbies, things that give you joy?

Most of my spare time is spent crafting. I love DIY projects. If I am not crafting I am reading or watching a movie or tv show. It would not be surprising to catch me watching Harry Potter.

Be on the lookout for

You will see me talk with my hands. It also will not be surprising to hear me quote tv shows or movies.
