Research interests
I am involved with collaborative projects, headed by my colleagues in the Center for Genome Engineering, the UMN Stem Cell Institute, and the Masonic Cancer Center at UMN, that focus on non-viral gene therapy using the Sleeping Beauty transposon system precision genetic engineering (genome editing) in large animals for improving animal welfare and quality, swine models of diseases, and regenerative medicine.
