Education
I graduated from the University of Minnesota–Twin Cities with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Strategic Communication and a minor in creative writing. Once a gopher, always a gopher! 

Life before CBS…
After graduating from the U in 2020, I lived in Illinois during quarantine and worked remotely as a copywriter for an agency before making the transition into working in higher education and returning to the Twin Cities. 

Adjusting to college life…
College was definitely a rollercoaster at the beginning, especially since I didn’t know a single person on campus and in Minnesota when I started! Despite the ups and downs, I ended up making lifelong friends, exploring my passions, and finding a second home in the Twin Cities. Some of the memories of undergrad include my on-campus job in a career office, studying abroad in Dublin, finding the best hidden gem study spots, and all of the wonderful peers that I met!

Favorite part of the job?
My favorite part about my job is the opportunity to play a role in planning career events, programs, and resources that support our student's career journeys as well as being the staff advisor for our amazing student leaders in Biology Colloquium. Additionally, working and building community with collaborative and supportive colleagues in a major bonus!

Current passions, hobbies, things that give you joy?
One of my favorite hobbies is exploring the never-ending coffee shop, restaurant, and brewery scenes in the cities! You can often find me researching travel destinations, quoting New Girl incessantly, bullet journaling and buying way too many stickers and pens, taking mental health walks in nature, reading, and attempting to enjoy running.
